For
area youth, Cornerstone is a
popular place to be on Friday nights. Doors open at 7pm and close at
10pm. On average, 25-30 youth attend Cornerstone on Friday
evenings.
 
- Typical
Night
- pool, ping pong, air hockey, foosball,
Xbox, board games and youth connect with their friends and Cornerstone
volunteers
- Pit
Nights
- occurs twice a month
- The Pit
is a large area in the basement where specially planned activities are
held such as movie discussions, guest speakers/performers, and games.
Cornerstone hopes to use The Pit
as another way to reach youth with the truth of the Gospel.
Friday
Night Age Policy
Youth must be 12-18 years old and/or in 7th -12th grade
*When youth
come to the center for the first time, they go through an
orientation where they meet the director, learn about the purpose of
the center, and hear the expectations of conduct. Youth must sign
the "Cornerstone Committment" if they want to be part of the
center
*Once youth
enter the center on Friday nights, they are not permitted
to leave and re-enter unless they have prior approval from the staff.
